missions . . .

Mission is to be at the very heart of the life of any church. God has commanded us to go into all the world and spread the saving news of the gospel. A Missionary Committee is made up of nine members of the congregation and its aims are as follows:-

** to promote missionary outreach within the congregation
** to keep the congregation informed, primarily by means of a ‘missions’ slot’
during the first morning service of each month.
** to encourage the congregation to pray for and support our missionaries
** to organise Missionary speakers for one Tuesday evening per month.

At present we have 6 missionaries from within the congregation. In addition to these, we take an ongoing practical and prayerful interest in several other societies/individuals.
